Upcoming Parking Changes for Feb. 28 to March 2

The Borough of State College Parking Department will not be granting any overnight parking permissions for the weekend of February 28, through the morning of March 2. Event rates will be in place beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday for all surface lots and parking garages in the borough for any parking sessions lasting more than three hours.
Lawn parking will not be permitted.
Please note that Pennsylvania Vehicle Code Violations will be strictly enforced:
- No Parking on the Sidewalk
- No Parking within an Intersection
- No Parking on a Crosswalk
- No Parking within 20 feet of Crosswalk at an Intersection
- No Parking 30 feet of a Stop Sign
- No Parking over 12 inches from the Curb
- No Parking against Traffic
- No Parking in Front of Driveway
- No Parking Anytime
Cars in violation of any of the above violations will be subject to ticketing and towing.
All other non-PA Vehicle Code Violations will be strictly enforced as well. Parking meters on-street and parking lots are enforced from 10 A.M. until 10 P.M.

2025 Parking Fees
On Monday, December 16, Borough Council passed the 2025 Budget, which included parking fee changes. View this document for a comparison of 2024 rates to the rates for 2025. For current monthly permit holders, these rates will be reflected in your February billing.
ParkMobile Zone Changes
To better serve parkers and have clearer zones on the application map, some zones have changed in ParkMobile
- Zone 4201 is now only College Avenue
- Zone 4202 is now only Beaver Avenue
- Zone 4203 is now all North-South directional streets, Foster Ave and Nittany Ave
- Zone 4205 is a Digital Only Zone where 100 W Foster, 300 S Allen, 200 S Burrowes multi-space units used to be
- Zone 4206 is a Digital Only Zone where 400 W Beaver multi-space units used to be
- Zone 4214 is the second level of McAllister Deck to ensure session starters see when the second level is by monthly permit only. This zone will not allow a session start until after transient parkers are allowed on the 2nd level
- Zone 4215 is McAllister Deck (unchanged)
- Zoine 4216 is Beaver Lot (unchanged)
- Zone 42100 is the THON Donation Zone (unchanged)
