Centre Tax Agency (CTA) Annual Reports

Centre Tax Agency (Agency) is part of the State College Borough's Tax Services Division. As the designated Act 32 collector for the Centre County Tax Collection District (TCD), the Agency provides Earned Income Tax collection services for four school districts and thirty-one municipalities, collecting and distributing millions of dollars in tax revenue each year. The Agency is funded by a 2.4% commission on collections that is deducted before monthly distributions are made to the TCD members. When the actual costs of collection for the year are less than the commission, the difference is refunded to the school districts and municipalities.
