COVID-19 Local Response
Our Local Health Department is working in conjunction with the Centre Region Emergency Management Agency (CREMA) Response Team to monitor the situation and provide updates to our community (please scroll through this webpage to view all the updates and resources). The CREMA, which coordinates efforts with the Pennsylvania State University, Centre County Office of Emergency Services and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, was formed many years ago by the Centre Region municipalities, creating a single emergency operations plan, a shared emergency operations center, and the hiring of an Emergency Management Coordinator to deal with multi-jurisdictional disasters and other emergencies, including widespread community health threats.
