Disease & Insect Problems

Disease and insect pests create considerable problems for the trees of State College. Two of the more potentially harmful diseases in this area are Oak Wilt and Dutch Elm Disease.   • Gypsy Moth:  The Gypsy Moth Cooperative Suppression program is being coordinated by Centre County.
