State College Police are currently investigating the fraudulent use of credit cards on May 4, 2011 between 2:00 and 3:30 pm. The two black male suspects pictured above made purchases with credit cards at the Wal-Mart located at 373 Benner Pike and the Giant Food Store located at 2222 East College Avenue, both located in College Township, State College, PA.
The victim in this case is from Corpus Christi, TX and reported the fraudulent purchases on his credit card, but still had possession of his credit/debit card. It is unknown at this time what specific credit card(s) or blank card(s) were used, but the victim's credit card account number was on the card(s) and compromised.
Store surveillance video captures both males using credit cards and making purchases of store gift cards. Wal-Mart corporate security is also involved in this incident due to similar, multi-state incidents.
If you can identify either of the suspects in the images above or have additional information concerning this incident, please contact State College Police, 243 South Allen Street, State College, PA 16801, phone (814) 234-7150, or submit an anonymous tip through the web.
