Temporary Housing Foundation (THF) is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1988. THF is dedicated to a mission of providing affordable housing options to Centre County families.
As a Community Housing Partnership member, THF is able to assist qualified families with necessary renovations, a "gap" financing subsidy as well as down payment and closing costs. This means a family can buy more house with a lower monthly payment. THF will work with buyers before, during, and after the purchase of a home to help as a partner in their success.
Qualifying homebuyers are offered free homebuyer education and budget counseling to help them every step of the way.
For more information, contact the Community Development and Housing Division.
