On 11/6/2016 the State College Police received a report of an abduction that occurred at the intersection of East Nittany Avenue and Locust Lane. This incident occurred on 11/6/2016 between midnight and 1:00 A.M.

A college age, white female, reported that she was grabbed by a white, heavy set male at the corner of East Nittany Avenue and Locust Lane. The man drove up to the victim as she was walking home, threw her into the back seat of a silver, Chrysler mini-van and drove from the scene. The man drove her approximately 10 to 15 minutes from town until she was able to escape. The victim flagged down an Uber driver who gave her a ride back to her residence in State College.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 55 to 60 years of age. He has shoulder length white/gray hair and a short cropped beard. He was described as being between 6'2" to 6'6" tall and heavy set. He wore a blue and white baseball cap and a light blue sweat shirt. He was driving an older, silver Chrysler mini-van with gray interior.

We are urging anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or submit an anonymous tip through our website.
