Arrest of Alois Kudlach Media Release, July 15, 2015

On August 31, 2015 at around 2230 hours, the State College Police arrested Alois A. Kudlach after obtaining an arrest warrant through District Magisterial Judge Allen W. Sinclair. Alois Kudlach was charged with 1st and 3rd Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Interception, Disclosure or Use of Wire, Electronic or Oral Communications. Alois Kudlach was transported to Centre County Correctional Facility and will be formally arraigned sometime in the morning of September 1, 2015 in front of Common Pleas Judge Jonathan Grine.

Rite Aid Robbery Media Release, July 15, 2015

On Tuesday evening, July 14, 2015, at 9:00 PM, the State College Police responded to the Rite Aid Drug Store located at 1927 South Atherton Street for a report of a robbery. The victims, who are employees of the store, reported that right before store close, a white male entered the store wearing a black hoodie with his hood up. The suspect male walked directly to the back of the store and paused near the bathroom. At this time the suspect male placed a dark colored bandana over his face covering his nose and mouth. The suspect was then able to access the pharmacy behind the counter. The suspect quickly approached the pharmacist demanding they unlock the safe and asked for specific medications. The suspect loaded the medications into a bag that was across his left shoulder. There were no injuries sustained by the victims.
