prescription discount card The Borough of State College has a program offering savings on prescription drugs to residents who are without health insurance, a traditional benefits plan or have prescriptions that are not covered by insurance.

The Prescriptions Discount Card is made available to residents by the Borough of State College in collaboration with the National League of Cities (NLC) and is made possible through State College Borough's membership in the NLC.

The card is FREE to all State College Borough residents, regardless of age, income or existing health insurance. By using this card you could save an average of 20% off the regular retail price of prescription drugs at participating pharmacies. The NLC Prescription Discount Card can be used when purchasing prescriptions at approximately 19 pharmacies around the Centre Region, as well as more than 59,000 participating pharmacies across the country.


  • Easy Access - Simply present your card at a participating retail pharmacy and save an average of 20% on your prescription drugs
  • No Restrictions - You and your family may use your prescription discount card anytime your prescription is not covered by insurance. Even your pet's prescriptions are covered if the prescribed medication is also used to treat a human condition.
